Cooking
and grocery shopping are two of my least favorite activities.
I
avoid the grocery store as much as possible and only enter my kitchen
when it is absolutely necessary. But, for those of you who
love
cooking and enjoy trying new recipes, here are the widgets for you.
Recipes galore with some food safety tips thrown in for good measure.
Who
doesn't love The Food Channel? Fresh food trends and
recipes delivered to your website or blog daily with these
widgets. They come in a thin style for sidebars also.
Download a new Better
Homes and Gardens recipe every day for free with this widget.
Choose from several categories -- 20-min meals, one-dish
dinners, and slow cooker recipes.
Tap into Kraft's huge
database of recipes directly from your computer. You can
download the widget to your desktop or embed in your blog, website or
favorite social networking page. Just grab it.
Recipe
Puppy is an ingredient-based search engine, a tool for
finding recipes from various cooking websites that match the
ingredients in your refrigerator or cupboard. Enter your
ingredients separated by commas and voilą. I plugged in
chocolate and asparagus and got 20,000+ recipes. If anyone
gives this a try and finds it successful for your needs, I would be
interested to hear feedback. Seems like a cool idea.
WashingtonPost.com offers
a Recipes Of The Day Widget that can be used on your blog, website or
desktop as well as a variety of other daily news widgets.
In
addition to offering this neat recipe of the day widget for your blog
or website, you can add Big Oven recipe search to your web
browser or get the Vista desktop widget.
